The Land Rover Defender is an icon, following in the wheel marks of the Series 1, 2 and 3 the 90, 110 and 130 inch wheel base Defender models are as rugged as they come.

We have prepared Defenders for recreational use, hard core off road, overland and specialist applications such as rescue and utility vehicles.

We have mounted access platforms, pneumatic camera masts, satellite dishes and crop sprayers onto Defenders. Because the Defender has a separate chassis and simple flat sided body panels it is relatively easy to customise them, we have carried out numerous bodywork alterations to suit customers requirements with popular conversions being Defender 90 ‘King cabs’ and 130 5 door hard tops and station wagons.

A large proportion of the work that Frogs Island 4x4 carries out is preparing Defenders for vehicle dependent travel or overland expeditions. General enhancement, soft top conversions, engine and automatic transmission conversions and interior modifications are all very popular.
