Company History:

Frogs Island 4x4 began life in the out skirts of Brightwell-cum-Sotwell Oxfordshire in the early 90’s. Since then we have grown into the Largest independent 4x4 workshop in the UK, now based in Milton Park just off the A34. Over the years we have carried out servicing & repair work to almost every kind of 4x4 vehicle available to buy, a service that we offer to this day.  We have designed, built & competed countless competition and recreational off roaders & expedition overland vehicles, which are still in use today. Frogs Island 4x4 vehicles & staff members have competed in events such as the Malaysian Rain Forest Challenge, Outback Challenge, Desert Storm challenge as well and most of the UK winching events & competitions, not to mention RTV & CCTV trials, Comp safari’s & Hill rally’s.   We currently employ 7 office staff to run our service desk, parts counter, specialist sales & website, as well as 5 full time fully trained & skilled technicians as well as 1 apprentice technician.   

Our Future:

Frogs Island 4x4 now a part of the Allmakes group and member of the Network of 4x4 specialists, has a strong future ahead. We will shortly moving into our new specially designed premises at 178a Milton Park where we will be able to extend our range of customer services.

The all NEW Terrafirma range of Land Rover & Toyota accessories continues to grow allowing us to provide quality and value to our customers.

Our staff members are heavily involved in various 4x4 actives including the “Abingdon 4x4 Festival”, “British Cross Country & Hill rally championships” & “Howling Wolfe challenge championship”.
