Frogs Island are pleased to be involved in the 2010 championship...

Team Frogs Island.........

Frogs Island 4x4 are proud to be sponsoring the Round 2 of the AWDC's Howlin' Wolf Winch Challenge Series. The Howlin' Wolf is arguably the toughest most competitive 4x4 series in the UK. Last year Dan Elias of Frogs Island 4x4 competed in the Frogs Island Lime Green tray back in the 2009 series finishing 6 In class 2 over all and 9 over all in the Championship not bad for his rookie season.

This year not only will Frogs Island 4x4 be involved with Sponsoring round 2 of the championship, but Dan Elias has teamed up as co-driver for Last years Class 1 Champion Kevin Pocock in his very trusted Class 1, Portal axled Range Rover Classic.

_mg_3885 small.jpgKev And Dan teamed up together earlier this year in the First round of the Howling wolf Championship, They completed all 20 special stages with 2 punches in each as well as both optional special stages and finished 2 hours before the event finish time. Walking away with top honours in Class 1 as well as winning the round overall.  Good Luck to Team Frogs Island in round 2.

 

Howling Wolf..........

The Howlin' Wolf is a series of four one day challenge events through 2010 at the very best off road sites in the UK. The overall winners of the series will be awarded the Howlin' Wolf Trophy.

The aim of the event is to drive your vehicle to various points within the competition site, the location of which will be indicated on the day.

In addition there may also be special tasks at certain locations which are worth extra points. These may take the form of driving, mental or physical tasks.

The winner will be the vehicle which has attained the highest points score at the end of the competition. Trophies will be awarded to the driver & co-driver of the 1st, 2nd & 3rd placed vehicles in each class.

Vehicles must comply with the AWDC Challenge Technical Regulations and the Standing Supplementary Regulations which will be sent to all teams upon registration.

Event Timetables will be published in the Club's Fixture Sheet at least one month in advance.

There will be an entry limit of 40 teams per event.
